  • Hotel room rates per room night are in Canadian funds (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes (currently 3.5% Housing Tax, 5% GST and 9.975% PST) in effect at the time of check out

  • Cancellation policy: Individual reservations may be cancelled up until 72 hours local time prior to arrival with no penalty. Cancellation received after this time will be subject to one night’s room & tax, applied to the credit card used to guarantee the reservation.
  • Check in is at 3pm. Check out us at 12 noon
  • Prior to or upon check-in, a one-night room and tax charge will be billed to your credit card as a deposit. 

Book your hotel reservation by 15 March 2025, and identify yourself as an attendee with World Nuclear Fuel Cycle to secure the group rate of $259 CAD. Please note there are a limited number of rooms available at the discounted rate and are allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Applying for a Visa to Travel to Canada

Immigration, Refugees, Citizenship Canada (IRCC) may require certain visitors to apply for a visa. To check if you will need a visa, please visit here and answer a few questions.  If a visa is required, follow these instructions to apply.
 
Some visitors must provide biometrics before the IRCC will process their visa application. You can find out if biometrics are required here.  Biometrics can only be provided in person at a biometric collection site, and visa processing does not begin until biometrics are on file. 
 
As of December 2024, the time to process a visa application is 30+ days. Various factors may affect processing and approval times and we strongly advise submitting your application as soon as possible!  You can check current visa processing times here. Please plan accordingly to include time to provide your biometrics (if required).
 
Conference organizers are unable to provide application updates and guidance on the IRCC visa process. If you have questions regarding your visa application or process, please contact your IRCC office.
 

Visa Invitation Letter Requests

Attendees may request a visa invitation letter from the conference organizers. Allow two business days after submitting your request to receive your letter. Please send your request and the following information to Alexis Carr.

•    Date of birth (mm/dd/yyyy)
•    Nationality
•    Travel dates 
 
After submitting your application, please provide your visa application number to Alexis Carr. This will allow conference organizers to notify IRCC to confirm your registration and help prioritize attendee applications to ensure they are processed in time for the conference.
